Well I actually made it home from work at a reasonable hour on Tuesday night, turns out just in time to relax and watch one of the stupidest news reports i have ever witnessed.

A Current Affair with their puppet Tracy Grimshaw did a segment about a “car hoon”, who just happened to be a drifter. Instantly they have my attention, problem was not one second of the report was constructive or had anything to do with keeping hoons off the streets, no all they were interested in doing was creating public outcry against “crazy carlo”. I must admit that i became intstantly pissed off!

I can’t believe how they can slander one person to create a witch hunt and totally disregard any sort of solution to this apparent hoon epidemic.

And here is the original unedited by ACA clip, that was mysteriously uploaded by someone. It was a entry to be top gears “the stig”!

I’m not condoning or defending his actions, he was doing irresponsible things on a possibly public road. If it turns out he was doing something against the law then the police should deal with that matter.
If ACA actually did any kind of investigation, they would have found the right people within the drifting community to speak to and get a constructive story out of, and no IAN LUFF is not the right person! They should have given their information to the police and let them handle the bounty hunting, while reporting on the current lack of legal off street facilities for these hoons and young new drivers for that matter to improve and practice their driving skills in a safe environment. The sooner the public or the government realise that as long as there are cars there will be people who love motorsport and need these facilities the better.

When will the media stop feeding everyone bullshit just for ratings and actually use their influence for positive outcomes.
