Then following up a perfect run with an almost outside overtake into the first corner, leading to a re-run and a loss

Nigel was a massive cuplrit of door to door driving. The battles against him were awesome fun

The Neutons held their own against the R1R’s and RSR’s

A cold and damp morning greeted everyone as they qued for entry. I find this time the most stressful, just making sure you do all those last little checks to make sure everything is ready to roll.

You need as much help as you can get for these events. Here we have Adam and Leeroy taking care of the unloading of Agess car.

All unpacked and ready for action, we like to keep our pit area open and fun and always well presented.

Tom “biggie” Hall’s tough 180sx streeter. He is officially the craziest man getting around, after letting Hai pilot this car after he blew his gear box in qualifying.

Agess’s 180sx needed some refreshment.

Trav one of the judges for the day chatting with Timmy about some wicked bike tricks he was busting out.

The Project D guys made the trek down from Sydney just for the event. Thats Shembri the ladies man busting out Hai’s signature photo pose!

The tyre fitter’s is normally a popular place, but the wet weather made their day a little easier.

Rolling out. The front bar has seen better days, but they seem to last longer when they have a few cable ties in them.

This is why we do it. Have fun driving with mates, then chill out with a red bull and catch up friends.

Red bull were kind enough to send up their event crew including this awesome DJ tuck! The girls kept the crowd full of energy and the DJ helped them rock out!

Good combo.

This is Erin, one part of our girl support crew along with Celeste and Celia. They keep us inline and make sure our stands are looking pretty all day long.

Leeroy keeping an eye on qualifying, we really rely on feedback from the crew because you dont get to see much of other runs while your sitting on track.

Friendly atmosphere is the aim of the Drift Attack events. Here we have Andrew Considine from Tasmania, Nigel, Sam “Mez” Merideth who came from Queensland to film, Mick Truscott and Daniel Buckna from Queensland having a chat before the top 16 kicks off.

As usual the first to be prepared will be Nigel! We stopped in at the good doctors during the week to see if he could extract a few more ponies from Niges blinging 180.

Agess was on hand for entertainment and as you can see, his performance was bought to you by Jim Beam!

A couple of warm up runs to get her ready.

And a new baseline was found.

Nige and the Dr work out how to get this thing rocking.

And its decided to try a turbo swap and some “special” fuel.

Agess wanted to try his NOS on it.

While we had a look at the Insane Drifters POWER SHOOTOUT CHART.
Thats Agess with the first yellow line from his new motor set up with solid head.
Papa in the middle with the green line, has fixed that monster lag issue that has plagued the car for years.
Nige is pretty in pink with his base from the night on the TD06.
And Hai is the owner of the yellow line that doesnt seem to ever want to stop!
The light blue line belongs to the Dr’s SR20DE+T that had a TD06 copy strapped to the side of it and punished at the recent Drift Attack! Thats over 300kw from an NA motor!

So pretty inside.

Light snacks were also provided by our host.

And the final outcome with the new juice and a tune. Now what time did you run Agess?

Wow, what an event, thanks to the team and the publics support we rocked Drift Attack once again.
